Quite simply...because they are mine.

Surviving and living as a person in today's society can be overwhelming, exhausting, and demoralizing. Then, on the toss of a coin it can change and one's existence becomes exhilarating, beautiful, and even life-altering.

As a writer, I have that ache to document and share my stories hoping the words. I compile will inspire others, and make those others feel seen and less alone.

What type of details do my stories have to offer? Well let's see...

As someone with severe hearing loss, I have over 20 years of 'no kidding there I was' stories.

As a woman, I have experienced the world in a way only a woman could.

And as a former first-generation college student who earned a doctorate, I picked up countless tricks and experiences while maneuvering through academia.

With such a variety of topics to discuss, how could an author get bored?
